Just an FYI.

Quote:
Hi everyone,

We are going to begin transitioning to the new server in the next few days. Ideally, we should have no downtime, since the DNS should switch over in a matter of minutes.

If you have issues during the transition, flush your DNS caches/turn off any home routers doing DNS caching. Anything configured properly should respect the DNS change instantly, since I have told servers to not cache the record for more than 5 minutes.

I will give you all a heads up on things as they progress. thumbsup

Thanks for your patience. notworthy

May I ask, why is PRO moving? Are there some new benefits to changing servers?

Considering the load we're putting on the server, we're WAY to big for our britches here. The SQL queries alone between all our DB driven sites are bogging us down bad.
