I've been looking for a boxer or staffordshire puppy and found one earlier this week. This morning I packed an old blanket and went to fetch it. It's a brindle colored longlegged English Boxer, three months old. It's had it's first round of innoculations and deworming and it's tails been cut.
So I got it home and took it next door to introduce it to my sisters four dogs. They all seemed to accept it ok, I guess because it's just such a little pup. Then I left it inside with the doors closed and a bowl of water and went to get it a feeding bowl, dog basket and dog food. When I got back it was AWOL...it had climbed onto a sofa, then my desk, the window sill and OUT My sister found it wondering around inside one of their sheds barking at the top of it's little lungs
Still need to think of a name for it, but I'll leave that till I know it's character and personality better. Already I'm leaning towards naming it "Bozo"
Here's a pic of the little escape artist with it's tummy full and ready to sleep it off in it's new basket
This is more or less what he'll look like when he's grown up, but I won't clip it's ears.

Thanks folks. It's a skinny little runt at the moment. I fed it threee times already today, the last time with a mixture of left over chicken and puppy pellets and it gobbled that lot down. I gave it a bowl of porridge and pellets now to see it through the night but it's not interested in anything at the moment. I'll fatten it up - what you put in is what you get out right...I mean it grows incredibly fast for the next two months so it needs a lot of food right?
It's only partly house trained and if the door is open it does go outside to do it's thing. Twice it did a number two on the bathroom mat and I had to pick it up and clean it. I don't mind if it goes to the bathroom in the bathroom I must say Unfortunately can't leave the door open for it as I think it needs time to get used to it's surroundings first and I don't want it wondering off before it knows where it is.

Hahaha, yup that's right and much longer than two months! You'll be scooping lots of poop for a while.
