I am not a heavy gamer, but my frinds seem prefer consloe games better.

Isn't it already possible to play online with users who use a different gaming source then you? At least with the 360,

I think it is all about the preference... My preference is the Xbox 360, and yes you can hook both up and have a Lan connection to play with groups of friends. The only thing that the PC has on all of the console games is the RTS (real time stratagy) like star craft or age of empires... but I do believe that might change soon with Halo Wars coming out to the Xbox 360 if I do remember correctly. I have been the other way though, I have been brought up on concoles so like I said, it is really just preference.

Yes agree that's something personal, some people just get used to the pc games and some just like the consoles. And I have noticed that at the momment, most games have all versions both the pc version and the consoles.

I agree with Computerwiz2489, I am PC goer for life. I think once you build you can upgrade for a nominal price. and I don't know a PC game that is more than 50 bucks. Yeah some are limited and late release like the Halo games, but when they do come out they have the ability to render better images with a good graphics card.

I think some games are more suited to consoles. All strategie games are rubbish on consoles and playing a football/soccer sim (e.g. PES) on a pc would be very painful!
