Clone XP to dual boot with Vista

I bought a HP laptop with Vista Premium, can i clone XP OS in my desktop PC with TrueImage disk backup software onto the laptop, as all the XP drivers missing in the laptop will be present after the cloning, will this method get rid of all the fuss with settiing up XP with Vista?
