Hi everyone! Long time no see! I just recently purchased the iPhone and I'm debating on wether to buy a case for it or leave it as it is "Sleek and Elegant". I purchase the protection film for the screen because you can't see it and you can never be too careful with it.

Does anybody have an input on this?

I don't have an iphone but on my normal cell I don't like a cover for it. It makes it bulky and not as easy to carry and slip in a jeans or jacket pocket in my opinion and also doesn't look as good.

Very good point with making the phone bulky and hard to get out of the pocket. But we are talking about a $ 400 that might scrath but then again one of the reasons I payed the price was for the design, so I might as well enjoy it. By the way I just typed this with the iPhone and it was super easy and fast. Any further sugestions will be appreciated.

I tend to buy a case for anything expensive that I carry around in my pocket. You can get a leather one with a flip-over cover. Those still look nice and will still protect it. Heck, the only reason you'd really want it to look a certain way would be to impress others... but I'd probably laugh when there's a crack in that glass after dropping it 2 feet without any protection.

since you can not insure you may want one. I am like Graham, I hate cases and I carry my Motorola Q9M in my pocket with keys locked.

I have a HipCase for my iPhone, its a beltclip style case and I really like it. Cost me $29 at the AT&T store.

Highly recommended

I dropped my phone a number of times, so I purchased a silicon enclosure by incase, grip hasn't slipped once since. Does make it just a little bit harder to get in and out of my pocket.

Just make sure your cover isn't made of silicones. I believe there are all kind of covers for the iPhone, including ones made out of wood. Those should be fairly easy to get out of your pocket.

I actually ended up purchasing the iSkin from inCase and honestly I hate it lol

Everytime someone calls me, it is really hard to get the iPhone out of the pocket, as the rubber tends to stick to everything saywhat . I ended up just buying a screen protector, and it's been doing just fine! This phone is just absolutely awsome!

Thanks for all the advices! thumbsup
