This year is already starting to scare me weather wise. Record tornado outbreaks in the Midwest, several even came through our area a few months ago. Chances for a active Hurricane season again, drought, and now the scorching temps.

It's only June!!! And we could hit 100 F already. Sheesh

The weather's pretty barmy over here, too. We've had about a week and a half, two weeks tops, of decent weather so far. Temperatures last week were back down in single figures, 8-9ºC and are now back into the high teens, low twenties.

There's been high winds and torrential rains, even some snow in higher areas.

Totally nuts!

We've also had some real strange weather for this time of year...thunder storms are summer stuff and we're in the midst of winter. Yesterday and the day before, with early morning temps at below zero C where I am we had some nice electrical storms saywhat

Yeah that's odd to have T-Storms with freezing temps. That'd be kinda spooky. I always heard about Thunder Snow in my weather classes at USC, but it makes me laugh when I hear it.

I have seen snowy thunderstorms, thunder, lightning, blowing wind, and snowing like crazy.

Strange weather all over the globe it seems. We had storm snows during March and we had terribly high ( about 25 degrees ) before and after :omg:

Then during April we had two heat waves , another on May and yesterday it was about 15 and raining. Now it's season normal , near 25 at noon , about 20 at night.

On Saturday I went out, got in my car, and clicked the "outside temp" thingie and it said exactly 100°. I'd never seen it go into triple digits. It hit 99° yesterday and at 9 AM this morning it was already up to 87°. They are predicting 100° or so again today and for the next few days.
