Yes one does need to set their date back.

I forgot to reset mine after formatting the old version away so the install date was January 10, 2008, it had no problem with that date.


The installation for this Windows 7 edition took the same amount of time as did the Ultimate edition.


The Windows Switcher (Flip 3D) is non-AERO in this edition

I finally drilled down & discovered that it appears that Windows 7 is getting closer, MS Update has updates for Windows 7 now also...

I haven't been running Windows 7 much lately as I'm waiting for another build to be available (PDC October 27-30 maybe?)

Also getting ready to leave on a vacation & noticed that my Windows 7 would expire before I returned so I went ahead & activated it... now I'm good for 6 months, before the time bomb explodes.
