I have installed XP on my Toshiba notebook (A205-S4777) that had Vista installed but have no sound and Toshiba says they don't have a driver. Is there another alternative? If that is not possible how can I run programs like Quicken in Vista when it has been installed on the partitioned XP drive. When I try to start the program from Windows Explorer it apparently can't find the registry entries.
Thanks for your help.
Mike

In order to run Quicken you will have to install it on the OS that you want to run it under. What version of Quicken is it? Quicken 2007 and 2008 will run on Vista.

As for the sound drivers, there is bound to be a driver for XP for that computer.

Do you have a dual boot running now?
