What do you think about Foxconn?

I'm interested in Foxconn P35A-S available in local stores. Is it good?

Did anyone use either P35A or P35A-S or any P35 motherboard from Foxconn? If so, which model of motherboard do you use? How good/bad is it?

P35A-S specifications:
http://www.foxconnchannel.com/product/Motherboards/detail_spec.aspx?ID=en-us0000318

My requirements:
- Mainstream/budge build
- LGA775 Socket
- support 4 DDR2 RAM, at least 8GB
- 2 PCIe x16 for 4 monitors [CrossFire is not required but nice to have]
(I also accept any motherboard with open-ended PCIe slot
- decent (not necessarily good) overclockability

Overclocking needs:
CPU: OC my E2180 to 3.0Ghz. Change of voltage will be minimal.
RAM: I want it to be 1:1 FSB:RAM ratio, so I will probably not OC at all. May want the ability to change RAM voltage.
Video card: I will try to OC my ATI HD2600Pro anyway. I'm a light gamer.
I don't OC my second ATI HD2400Pro.

Foxconn is a good motherboard maker, I have seen a lot of Foxconn boards in Dell computers over the years. I don't know about their OC'ing capabilities, and the one you are looking at, the crossfire falls back to PCI-E X4 it looked like when you use 2 graphics cards

Well, I've found that Foxconn's tend to be more budget-friendly boards... at least from my experience. Never got much good OCing out of them and I used one in a repair for someone else and it got a little finicky after 2 years. Not bad, but I trust Asus more.

And if you want 4 monitors, I don't think you can do Crossfire. I think it combines the power of 2 cards but only 1 card does output, right?

correct about the crossfire, but if he uses 2 cards without crossfire in the Foxconn board or any board actually he will be able to connect 4 monitors

and I am an ASUS fan myself

Yea, I was just pointing it out because he mentioned it was "nice to have" but he won't be able to use it if he wants 4 monitors.

asus and gigabyte would be the two top choices. And yea if you put in two graphics cards with out using crossfire, then you can run 4 monitors

Yes I want to use 4 monitors most of the time.

I think I will only use CF when I play game. Is it easy to switch over to CF and switch off 3 monitors when I play game?

One question: is it ok to CF with different ATI graphic cards?

After all, as you see, my graphic cards are entry-level. So CF is only a very minor plus.

Graphics cards need to be identical to use crossfire at least use it to the best of its ability. i don't know what would happen if they aren't
