Yeah, the insurance should cover most of it. I am waiting to hear from them today to see what is going to happen.

With the economy, the housing situation and everything else, I look for this type of thing to escalate, more breakins, more robbery's.

Yeah, i could see it happening as well. I am seeing about getting ADT installed. My other company sucks. A buddy of mine works for ADT, so he is going to set me up with everything. I just worry about my kids and stuff.

Sorry to hear that. You get such a feeling of being victimized that stays with you for a while.
Glad you were'nt home tho, never know what that may have turned out to be.

My brothers house caught fire on friday, he was home, but cant live in it nw.
He runs a group home for a 25 yr man with mental health issues, yet the kid called 911, got his mom and cat from the basement and ran outside.
Instinct!

Years ago our house was broken into and vandalized, we found out later it was friends of the kids that lived across the street. They were messing with fire and it was lucky they didn't burn our house down. They didn't steal anything other than some junk food, pop and candy

I am sorry to hear that this has happened to you Sisco22

Right after I moved into where I live now, our (Xwife & me) home was broken into while we were at work. They stole the microwave oven, binoculars, 35mm camera & some Elvis albums tongue

It had to be teenagers, so I put padlocks on the gates & SM screws in the HS alum. windows w/ sticks to show they were not accessible + double cylinder deadbolts on the exterior doors.

I haven't had any problems w/ burglaries since.
