I have an ASUS P5B MB, 6600 Dual Core, DDR2 800 OCZ Ram.

I was considering replacing it with something faster.

I want to stay with INTEL processor, ASUS MB, and OCZ ram. They have been good to me so far and i PREFER to stay with them UNLESS somebody can convince me different.

What are your suggestion? Take in fact also that I do not want to go to the bank to take out a lone also.

I am thinking about getting the ASUS Rampage when I can afford one, so I can still use my RAM, CPU, and then finally take advantage of Crossfire at full 16X speed for both my EAH3650 graphics cards

I have the P5Q Deluxe MB and have been told it is miles ahead of my P5W DH Deluxe MB but I don't see the vast improvement I expected, but maybe I don't know how to set all the setting to get it. That is all I meant to say.

Hehe, nice rig as I just bought a similarly specced one, P5Q Pro with a Q6600, got all the parts today except for the mobo! My only question would be why change from your P5B as it supports a quad. I realize it's a slower board but not by that much. Anyways, I'm an ASUS guy too as I'm on my third rig and have had no issues with them yet though my last build was an AMD, for the price. Oh, the retail box comes with a large (3-3/8") HSF, I hope it's good enough as Intel says to keep the chip below 38C. It'll be good to compare notes.

I am using the CNP9500 cooler with mine and with no OC it runs around 36 to 38 all the time, and even when I had it OC briefly it stayed around 40

Until I started using ASUS boards sometime back I swore on only using Intel produced motherboards for Intel CPU's. Check out the DX48BT2. Their quality and reliability is outstanding. There's a good X48 chipset motherboard review at Toms Hardware.

If you're upgrading everything perhaps you should look at DDR3 memory too, which that board supports

The Intel boards are confusing to me lololol

I found one I like but it does not have the mini PS2 ports for mouse and keyboard and a parallel port.

The ones I have been building, the clients still have parallel port printers in some offices.......
