If you like to read stories of people that reply to these things for the purposes of scamming the scammer, check out 419eater.com. There are some pretty hilarious things they do to these scammers.

Yeah, I've seen some really good ones that have at the very least cost the scammer/s serious money thinking they're about to reap it big and need to show a "gesture of goodwill" lol

LOL I read some of those, I wish I had the time to stick it to some of them.

A few years ago I got one, saying the usual like they needed some way to clear some amount like 8 million, and made a reverse offer to whomever, saying I had the same situation only for like 3 times the amount that they had offered.

Within a few days my email inbox was innundated with scam offers and it continued to the point of me having to close and stop using the email address.

I recently read about one pastor who did get scammed and lost a whole bunch of the churches' money which they could ill afford.
