The Sims:Makin' Magic

It feels like only yesterday we were guiding our Sims to Hollywood in the last expansion pack, Superstar, yet here's another just in time for Christmas. In another blow for Sim's cynics, Makin' Magic is incredibly good fun and introduces some brilliant new aspects to the gameplay, most notably the comic fantasy element missing from earlier editions.

The object of the game is to collect various ingredients to make up different spells. Finding some of these requires a trip to the excellent new Magic Town, where you can purchase any missing elements and take part in the usual challenges. Makin' Magic is far from essential but you'd be hard pressed to find a more familiarly pleasant experience this festive season, especially as it comes with a free Sims2 preview disc.

The sims was a good game the first 2 or 3 expansion packs. It was fun to play all day, but, now there are so many d*mn expansion packs that i start to wonder what the point is? it was a simple game with not alot of stuff, but enough to have fun playing and now, there is probobly more crap in the sims than you would find in a sewerage farm. i think they should move on to making different games becuase there is way too many sims! thumbsup

I've got to agree with you Clark. Because there's so many of them , they're now getting boring.

This expansion pack looks like fun though, I'll probably get it. I do like Unleashed with the pets too.

I think EA Games should give it a rest for a while. Every couple of months they are comming out with a new game, and like you guys said it gets old after a while. I didnt buy The Sims Online because I think it is kind of pointless to pay $10.00 a month just to play oner the net with others.
