I do have a fascination for Russia. A lot of people find it strange that I didn't find a "friendlier" group of folks to study. Their past is a tumultuous one for sure. Have you read a lot about it? I studied the language for awhile. I'm pretty rusty now, I wish I could study it again...but sadly there is no time.

Scotland was lovely by the way, Mac. I saw it mostly through a train window, but it was beautiful. I picked the wrong city to visit, we went to Glasgow instead of Edinburgh. We also went up to Inverness, but we mistimed our train ride and only had half a day there. I didn't even see the Loch! I also admit I chickened out and never tried haggis...

That's a pity about Scotland Natasha, as you wouldn't have seen it in its true light. Edinburgh was the place to go for culture and history, and the Castle, and if it was the West Coast train line you had taken then the scenery is lovely and you would have passed where i live, and straight through the Great Glen, passing Fort William and Fort Augustus, but if it was the direct rail line straight to Perth, Dundee, and then Inverness you would have missed out on some of the beauty of my country. I never learned Russian, but German and Italian instead, but i am well read on the history of the Czars and all of the Royal Russian families, as some of them were related to our own Royal family. Indeed Czar Nicholas was a cousin of our King at the time of his assasination, and he tried desperately to get help from our Royal family at the time. I was also fascinated by the revolution, and one of the greatest books on heroics i have ever read, was the Battle for Stalingrad, or quite simply the book only has Stalingrad in the title. Natasha i will be having Haggis at New Year as it is part of our tradition to eat this meal at this time. You would have been surprised at the taste, although it is an acquired one. It's nice to hear from you, and i will speak with you again.

Once this CC debt is paid off and school loans are undercontroll I would like to head back to Equador...for those of you that have never been anywhere...out of everywhere that I have been, Ecuador is the most amazing country you will ever find. As long as you have a good tour guide! New Guinea is gorgeous as well.

I live at the moment in Portugal, but lived most of my life in Mozambique and South Africa

But I noticed that most of the travelers reached Spain but were afraid to cross the border ?
Come to Portugal and you will find our people wheater food and wine, unforgetable

My parents traveled to Portugal and told me it was breathtaking. They liked the wine, too, as I recall.
