My first gun was also a 410 single shot at that. I still ahve it.Im going to give it to my son Tristan.

I grew up in the country, 8 miles from the nearest town, which had a huge population of 1200 souls. My father managed a cotton plantation, and all there was to see for miles was farmland and forests.

We would call that "The Delta" you could literally see for miles.

yes, you're right, it was the Delta. The highest point was the levee besides the Mississippi River.

A rifle isn't much use here in the cities (Unless you want to shoot someone ofcourse) LOL j/k. And my family does not travel much.

LOL, it's a little off the whitetail subject, but when I was growing up, there was nothing in Hollywood but an old store, that a friend of mine turned into a nightclub after we got out of high school. He appropriately named it "The Hollywood". It's even mentioned in a hit song. The land there could be purchased for $100 an acre at one time. Now, a million bucks wouldn't touch the same acre.
BTW, my sister was a sheriff's deputy in Tunica until recently, hopefully you did't run into her...LOL

You need to learn how to use a bow unknown, it is much more exciting to let them get right up on you before you take a shot. A rifle is much to easy anymore.
