No doubt, its a great card. But being and ATI fan i would reccomend anyone going to buy this card to hold on to your cash just a bit longer, this year should see the release of the PCI express revolution ATI will be the first chip makers to produce a full PCI express card - Although Nvidia are hot on the heals they are still using the AGP bus system which will slow the cards down alot....

PCI Express is worth the wait

I don't think I'll jump on the bandwagon. I'm not going out and replacing my motherboard quite yet.
Plus, Nvidia is already to introduce their own version at about the same time as ATI, the nVidia NV36X and NV40.

My personal opinion is that the first generation (maybe even second generation) cards will see no actual real world improvement on a PCIe bus as opposed to an AGP bus.

If you have evidence to suggest otherwise, please present it. There are plenty of writeups and opinions around the Internet's tech community that coincide with my own. Here is but one from THG.
