Whoa! And I honestly WAS considering hiking in your area! omg

I may just have to reconsider! saywhat

Nahh ... just joking, but I certainly won't do it in August! wootlaugh

We have a friend that visits us here, from Harlow, near London, England, and one year she was caught on a beach with my wife and another friend in a severe thunder storm. It was actually a tornado that passed nearby, felling trees and barns in the area. A couple of days later she was at home here alone and another bad thunder storm passed through! This was in late July. Now she refuses to come here in July ... "Hurricane season" as she calls it! wootlaugh wootlaugh

Sure hope things get better for the folks in Boscastle, and that the missing are really just somewhere else!

<----doesnt believe in global warming

when i say i dont believe in it i dont mean i dont think it ixists at all, but i think we are just going through natural cycles between hot and cold. mix that with our problems and it looks like we are setting ourselves on fire.

it is true, I have read things that say scientists belive that there is not much claim on global warming being attributed to humans, sure humans must have made a impact on it, but the scientists believe its 90% evolution of the planer not humans thats making the difference.

How did I know you would ask that! lol

I dont of the top of my head, its a case of trudging through the local online paper and see if its still there. It was a month or two ago.

Its probably just like one minute brown bread is good for you, then its white, now its back to brown.

I believe they are pinpointing to global warming. But you know what, i'm kind of mixed on global warming. You know what, just as long as the ozone doesn't go away i'm perfectly fine. However increased planet temperature is a serious problem. You just can't ignore global warming because it feels so real.
I think they're saying the glaciers and ice caps are starting to melt...
