but seriously, even if you don't use it much, a livecd is the absolute best tool for system recovery ... IMHO

kanotix has saved my butt more than once as a rescue cd. since it is debian based all the better

a live cd is no substitute for the real thing though... GET LINUX

He means that if you install linux and customize it as you like is better than just using a live CD.

what do you mean exactly?


He means that if your going to actually "use" linux, install it, don't run a live cd.
