Comparing the price to what each camera has to offer: The canon was cheaper. I figured the Nikon would win but when I wrote down all the features and compared them to the $$$$. The Canon wins. I still do not have it. I wanted the solid black and the local store only had silver and it was the one on display. I said if I am going to pay $799.00 just for CAMERA W/ 25-55 lens, I want black and I want it NEW.

Black is always a good choice over silver... definitely agree with you there. I've always thought silver screams "Look at me, I'm taking pictures." LOL
