Another change I've been hoping to have for a looong time and finally have implemented is as follows. Thanks to Eric for helping code this.

Currently most users here visit the 'New Posts' or 'Recent Posts' page to see what's new at PRO. Up until today they were taken by default to viewtopic.php for any thread that interested them. This included any news forum threads.

But not anymore.

From today forward any user who clicks on a story in any News, Blurb, Events Coverage, or Media Center forum will automatically be taken to viewstory.php instead. That is the proper page for 'syndication related' posts.

The other non-syndication related posts will continue to direct to viewtopic.php as normal.

I have also updated viewforum.php so that any forum negated as 'news syndication' will display viewstory instead of viewtopic as well.

I was doing that last part live, so some of you may have noticed some irregularity for a few minutes. Sorry about that.

Thats a nice change to the PROnet logo bar as well, with the "vistarization" you've given it

Thats an interesting change but no doubt a nicely configured modification to the forum software.

The buttons still need to be updated with the new style though.
