Windows Vista RTM Lab Session 8 --

Mitch Mogatchalian presented a session on Ultimate. Windows Vista Ultimate is the best of both worlds -- it includes every single feature. It essentially allows users to merge the worlds of work and home. It has all consumer features as well as business features. Ultimate has additional features like Bitlocker and Shadow Copy. At the same rate, if you compare it to Vista Business, Ultimate has all the home features like Media Center.

Windows Ultimate Extras are also available only with Ultimate. There has been much anticipation surrounding what Extras are on the way. They will only be available from Windows Update to owners of Ultimate.

They will be revealed in tonight's keynote with Bill Gates.

By the way, tonight's keynote will be broadcast live. You will be able to watch the webcast direct HERE (opens Windows Media Player). You can also go HERE for more information and links to the webcast for various speeds. There are also more details about tonight's keynote HERE.

It airs at 6:30 PM Pacific time, 9:30 PM Eastern.

Update: See our latest Vista story - Ultimate Extras - Motion Desktop Revealed

It appears so. If it's too much longer I might just wait and watch it in the morning.
