Vanishing Point at the Bellagio --

Monday at 6:30 PM I headed to the Bellagio for the famous fountain show. But this wasn't their usual production. I'd been hearing, "you really ought to go to this" for awhile, and for good reason. Microsoft did something that had never been done by anyone before. They projected images onto the fountains to provide a series of clues for the mysterious Vanishing Point game. They literally stopped the show in the middle and the famous Loki appeared.

If all this is a bit obscure to you, check out the article by our founder John C. Derrick. The basic idea is for one lucky person to have "the Ultimate Vista," and what could be more fitting than the view of Earth from space?

This is no fantasy. In fact, you may have read about the company offering rides into space on their rocket plane. If you want a ticket, it will set you back close to a quarter million dollars. Or you can try to win the game.

Later that night I spent some time talking to the pilot. He seems pretty down to earth, pun intended. So...how many points have you accumulated?
