This is a notice to the community about some forthcoming changes that will be implemented in the coming days. Some additional changes, as noted, have already begun taking place.

Current Changes Underway
-Guests (including non-logged in users) will see a separate and special theme (set of templates and layout) than registered and logged in users (members). This theme is called "PROStyle_Guests." This theme will have an increased presence of Ad content. Guests will also be unable to see Signatures and/or Avatars. The entire site will appear to be in html for these guest users and/or bots.

-Registered members will automatically be set to use the default forum theme from the moment they activate their account. Due to the changes already being implemented, Ad content will be decreasing on registered member pages to some degree. You may have already noticed the Vibrant ads are gone. This is a perk of registering and becoming a member of the site now.

Forthcoming Changes
-Another change of note is that the ability to remove signatures and avatars (via the radio buttons - see your profile for the notice) will no longer be a feature of the default theme. This is going to become a feature exclusively available to "No-Ads" subscribers. You need to make sure your setting are exactly as you want them right now if you do not plan to become a 'No-Ads' subscriber.

-NoAds subscribers will continue to surf the site with NO Ads inside the /forum/ directory. They will also, as noted, be exclusively allowed to change their settings for viewing (or not viewing) avatars and signatures while surfing the site. This is a perk for 'No-Ads' subscribers.

Thanks,

John

Make sure to read what I said carefully.

You will be able to add/remove avatars as always. But you will not be able to hide them or make them re-appear in your profile like you can now. There are two radio buttons that allow you to turn them on and off currently - take a look.

Those are what will be disappearing.
