Last night was the big shindig for WinHEC attendees. All 3,000 were invited to the Universal Studios theme park. It's actually part of the real NBC/Universal complex where many of their movies and TV shows are made.

We had a whole section of the park to ourselves, with nonstop food, free-flowing drink, and access to a number of rides and exhibits. A good time was had by all.

They literally rolled out the red carpet for us

The exhibits are located in real sound stages with movie history inside

The Windows Server Division took over a whole section of the park

Note: not real dinosaurs

That must of been great for you, WINHEC and movie history together, it doesn't much better than that for you!

Hehe. I was wondering if anyone would notice! It was a surreal combination. Not only that, but the person I was with was also a movie buff and we spent the whole evening talking about movies!
