I have not yet implemented this mod, but will shortly. This is effective immediately once the mod is installed.

Anti-Spam: Only Active Members Can Post URLs

-Members must be registered for at least 1 day and have more than 3 posts before they can post URLs. Guest user can never post URLs.

This is to help cut down on the amount of SPAM posts PRO-networks is receiving daily. No sense wasting our staff's limited time moderating only these annoying posts.

Thanks for your understanding and cooperation.

That will definitely help...thank you John thumbsup

Since adding the list of email addresses to the banned list there has been a slowdown - only 9 spammers since the 17th and we'd been averaging about 16 for similar periods.

I think this mod of yours will cut that if not completely, then significantly smilenod

I'll clean up there in the early hours of tomorrow morning so that we can monitor it easily.

I just tested it... it's definitely working. Blocks html, normal text links, and even bbcode links.

That'll block any linked images as well. If images still appear (and they likely won't without a link) then we'll disable images too.

Good idea.

Which reminds me, even before this mod was installed, I haven't been seeing any spam. Good work staff.
