Looks like we've definitely got a few folks interested in this, so we'll give it a shot on a trial basis - see what happens.

I'll start to organize and hopefully we'll get this started shortly.

If you haven't voted just yet, please keep the votes coming.

they'll join for the money and stay because they'll find they like PRO. Quite a few of the members floating around currently joined for the chance to use Longhorn (including myself).

i guess you're right.

one question,
If I understand correctly, if I win on the first day of the month, I win $1 right? How is that payable? paypal fees would eat it up. I assume we can leave it in an "account" in the hopes that the next time we win on the 31st?

I was working on all the rules today... should have them posted soon.

But yes, it would essentially be added up over the month and then a check, paypal, etc would be issued. There's also a special bonus for the first 10 days, and that'll be announced with the rules.

Good idea, and yes, non-US/CA residents as well as the hardest-working PROnet staff should be included smilenod

I agree but I must ask; what is the barrier between US/CA residents and the rest of the world. All the promotional contests I see floating around are only for the US and Canada. Do other countries have different laws regarding such contests?

Even if we ship a product to Canada, we have to fill our customs forms now. Money can take it to another level. It's usually a liability thing.

This is an interesting idea... I'd also like lower staff to be eligible. However, I'm wondering if this is the best way to promote the site. I'm all for getting people to contribute, but is throwing money at them going to get the right response? I always think quality is better than quantity... don't get me wrong, I'd like cash for being helpful just as much as anyone else, but certain incentives will yield certain results. Unless, of course, the main purpose is to have fun giving away cash and a positive side effect would be increased activity.
