I have here a cleanly validating CSS3 file on my website, and am working with a sort of tooltip to display my email address. As you'll see, I make a link with position:relative, and then have the tooltip go within that link as a position:absolute, so its position derives from that of the link (contact). However, Firefox 2 seems to ignore that all together, and make the tooltip's position derive from its super-parent's extremity, which is the div class "nav", starting all the way at the left edge of the page. Is there a hack out there that ONLY applies to FF2? I tried -moz-border-start, but that made the tooltip wacky in FF3. Or is there simply a workaround for this?

Not really sure... I've only just started web design. The site looks quite nice though. I see what you mean with the tooltip in FF2. I tried it in IE, and it appears in the right place but randomly (a mouseover doesn't trigger it). Setting left: 405px for the tooltip made it appear right for FF2, but I assume that'd mess up FF3 and Safari. Is it at all possible to just specify that position should be derived from nav instead?
