Comedian Dick Martin has died.
He was one-half of the zany comedy team whose Rowan and Martin's Laugh-In took television by storm in the 1960s, making stars of Goldie Hawn and Lily Tomlin.
It also created catch-phrases like "Sock it to me!"
The pair ended their shows with straight man Rowan saying, "Say goodnight, Dick." Martin, who played the dense half of the team, always replied, "Goodnight, Dick."
Martin was 86.
Family spokesman Barry Greenberg says Martin died Saturday night of respiratory complications at a hospital in Santa Monica, Calif. Rowan died in 1987.
