Hello Guys,
I need to have the following:
1- Document Management System.
2- Backup Software.
3- Encryption Software.
money is not an issue for me I only care about:
ease of use, network-less, easy to restore and recover backed up data or archived documents.
Platform = MS Windows
During the discussion we may end up having a professional review for such softwares.

Thanks a lot in advance

Hi Adnan. For backup software I'd definetly recommend Acronis True Image 11. It works in both XP and Vista. I'm using an older version in XP and it's really the best I'm aware of smilenod

Someone else will need to suggest what to use for Document Management and Encryption

Acronis can encrypt backups and also make incremental backups if you want it too. I'm not sure what you are looking for exactly with document management or encryption though.

since I trust you guys and I haven't seen any bad review about acronis I think I am taking it, but I need to read more about it, but what do they mean with best online backup software in the market?

do they mean by online that I need to backup while connected to a network? or can I back up to an external HDD?

and does anyone have any advice regarding the Document management system?
By the way I prefer one that saves the documents in a known format pdf, jpg...etc. so I don't feel stuck with it.

Thanks again

I think that it's talking "online" in that after you install it, you can backup the system without shutting it down. You can backup to several different mediums, external drive, internal drive, cds, dvds, ftp, network share, maybe a few more.

BTW. I have bought a WD my passport external Hard Drive, a software comes with it for backup, it encrypts the data and secure it with password but I don't trust freely shipped softwares on devices smile
so until now Acronis is the best, I am downloading the trial version to test it.

still looking for the Document Management System DMS.

Here is a DMS program for you; http://www.docpoint.biz/faq.html

As far as imaging/backup software I like Casper 5.0 http://www.fssdev.com/products/casper/specifications.aspx

And Casper has excellent support service. I had a support person stay on the phone with me til my problem was solved.
