depending on age, you can roughly figure charging 50 - 65% of what you paid for all the components at todays prices e.g. if you paid 300 for the CPU, but now they are selling for around 200 and it is a year old, you could probably figure to get a little more than half of the current price

Didn't really build it to resell...but i've decided to replace it with laptops. Ive got a cheap little desktop to use if i need it, but i figured it would be much easier for everyone in the house to just have laptops.

without the vendors for the parts I had to guesstimate, and this is without an OS figured in. It looks like you have about 1250.00 plus any shipping

I forgot about the Ram too, since I didn't have a clue as to what vendor, speed, etc.
You may or may not be able to get all that you have in it. That is where I would start, maybe a little bit more for your time.

Well in comparison to something you might find at a retail store, I'd think that would go for maybe $1400+ including the monitor but I only looked at it for about 20 seconds. That's just a lot of HDD space, a nice sound card, and a $220+ monitor. But maybe less :-/ I've been on vacation for a week haha

Probably the best way to get an idea on price is to compare similar slightly used systems on Ebay. That's what I did and then sold it on Craigslist . It sold the same day.
