LOL, that's actually quite funny. That's probably the most intelligent I've ever heard her sound.

Behind the scenes of Hilton's mock ad

LOS ANGELES — Paris Hilton didn't need cue cards for her presidential campaign ad.

The 27-year-old heiress memorized her entire monologue, rolleyes which included Hilton outlining her energy plan, saywhat in an online video spoof posted on Funny or Die, the comedy Web site's content director said.

Co-founder Adam McKay came up with the concept for a mock ad starring Hilton, which has received over 3 million views since it was posted Tuesday.

"Adam thought it would be really funny to get Paris to respond to the John McCain ad that featured her," Funny or Die content director Amy Rhodes told The Associated Press on Wednesday. "Adam contacted Paris directly, and she agreed to do it. He wrote the sketch. And she really, really loved it." thumbsup

In the online video, Hilton — clad in a leopard-print swimsuit and heels while lounging poolside — announces her candidacy for president and suggests an energy plan that combines elements of McCain's offshore oil drilling plan and Barack Obama's incentives for new energy technology. She also suggests a running mate: R&B singer Rihanna. smilenod

"I want America to know that I'm, like, totally ready to lead," confused she says in the video.

Rhodes said the video was directed by Jake Szymanski and produced by Chris Henchy of Gary Sanchez Productions. She said the video took a few hours to shoot at the house where Hilton was staying at in the Hamptons. Rhodes also said Hilton was not compensated for appearing in the video "because she decided she just wanted to do it for fun."

Jason Moore, Hilton's manager, would not comment to the AP about Hilton's appearance in the video.

#Rofl I actually saw this on CNN (with the "bitches" bleeped lol). Funny thing is, her energy policy is actually pretty sensible (and is, in reality, what Obama has adopted).
