Ya it looks like it is built on the Vista shell ATM.
I heard there will be no MinWin kernel nor WinFS (short for Windows Future Storage) in Windows 7 but who really knows how Windows 7 will evolve in the future year(s).
Since this build 6519 is a early M1 build & considering that Longhorn had 8/9 Milestones before becoming Vista, I'd say it is very very early to pass judgment on if Windows 7 will have anything else new, note there are a few other new buttons & whistles I haven't posted screen shots of yet.
Why don't you install this build of Windows 7, try it out & see what else is new for yourself

I wonder what UI changes MS will make in Windows 7 but something tells me that what we see right now will be close to the final UI with maybe a few tweaks.

Actually, Windows 7 will most likely be built around MinWin ... it's just the one that leaked that doesn't have it
As regards WinFS, who knows ? It's currently being developed veeeeeerrrrryyyyyy ssslloooooowwwwwllllyyyyy as a separate product, and the timeslot when they'll *need* it in Windows is still a few years away (it'll be when 30 TB + hard drive storage volumes will become possible for Joe Average -- not just hard drive space, but actual partitions of that size and more), because the 32-bit NTFS will no longer be able to cope...

That would be great, I am looking forward to trying that out.
A few new buttons & whistles
The sidebar no longer has the shading against the outside side
The task bar has a popup instead of sliding over for show hidden icons
When a explorer window is full size it has the AERO transparent edges now instead of opaque black as in Vista

Similar to old Longhorn bugs, wouldn't worry about it too much -- probably just temporary code ; although yes this is an example of why it's dangerous to install Alpha software on your rigs

Do you still have to go with the Dec 02, 2007 date and all that with that one
