Hi Guys, you all know that feeling when you've been banging your head against the PC wall. I'm slightly above that furious
I'm with BT/Yahoo and all I want to do is send PDF's via email (breathe in breathe out) I use Outlook Express
My email has Norton embedded so it takes soooooooooooooooo long as to not be of any use.
I tried to configure Outlook to see if it would be any quicker.
The first message I get is "unable to start processing services, could not open the item, try again.
I tried to import my O/E mail stuff but It does not display anything but an "inbox" icon which does nothing.
Most toolbox icons show "Could not open, try again".
All I really want is an email (not Hotmail) that will allow me to send reasonably sized PDF's.
Bless you for listening to the cries of a wounded man. embarrassed

My first advice would be to uninstall Outlook, delete the various Outlook files and folders from the various places they plonk themselves on your machine (just search for Outlook in Explorer), run a registry cleaner to get rid of any orphaned keys and then try to reinstall Outlook again.

Another piece of advice I've found is to try and create a new Mail profile by using the "Mail" option in Control Panel.

Alternatively, use something like Mozilla's Thunderbird email client software instead.
