Hehe. Not surprised. The one good thing it shows is that the artists who actually do perform live onstage and don't lip sync are to be commended for doing something which is incredibly difficult, when you think about it. When a singer or a band goes into a recording studio, they can spend hours, days, weeks, months getting their vocals just right (I'm a former record producer, too). But when they sing that same song onstage they only get one chance.

OK if you are THAT bad, why even put a live mic on someone? I heard her voice really went to the pot after she turned 17 or so. Kinda sucks, she was a good singer when she was younger.

She will talk to the crowd in between songs ("hey, Cleveland, how y'all doin'?")

It's also in case she needs to ask a question or give feedback. You can even hear her at times, when she turns away from the crowd (or in between songs or as she comes on or goes offstage) making comments to the crew.

Good point, I didn't think about that. I guess she sings during the actual songs so it looks more realistic.
