I attended the World Premiere of
Juno on Saturday night, September 8 at the Toronto International Film Festival. Jason Reitman directed from a stunning Diablo Cody script. Earlier
we posted a brief review of the experience.
Juno is a side-splitting, poignant comedy and we've chosen it as our #1 Top Pick from the 2007 Toronto International Film Festival. Juno was the first runner-up for the Audience Award at the festival, beating out 352 other entries. And
as we announced on Friday, Fox Searchlight has moved up the film's release date --
Juno hits theaters on December 14.
The brilliant enemble cast featuring Ellen Page, Michael Cera, Olivia Thirlby, Jason Bateman, Jennifer Garner, J.K. Simmons, and Allison Janney, all of whom joined Reitman and Cody onstage for the Q&A afterward. Also see
our video.
